V.F.W. to host several benefits..

The Clinton V.F.W. post 4168 and Auxiliary will host a benefit from noon to 8 P.M. to help local veterans. A meal of ham and beans with cornbread will be served. Cost will be $5 for adults $2 for children 10 and under. All proceeds to help local Veterans.

They will also have a rummage sale in the front of the building to raise money for the Auxiliary to make food baskets for shut- ins this holiday season.

Post Apple & Pork Event:
 The VFW will host the classic rock/southern rock blues and country band "Hindsight" from 9 P.M. to 1 A.M. NO COVER CHARGE!!

Rod and his trek across Illinois stops in

September 18, 2010
 Rod is a 65 year old vet who resides in Eastern Champaign. He decided to draw attention to his fellow Armed Service commrades by walking across the state of Illinois. He passed through Clinton at approximately 10 A.M. on Saturday Sept. 18,2010 and stopped at the V.F.W. were many lined the street to welcome him.
 He was such an inspiration to so many. Several children were graced to meet him and hear of his path across Illinois and why he chose to do it. He inspired several adults also.
